Millennium version?  I have two millennium 1858's with that finish, or lack of, but at the time the price was right.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Hi Guys,

I picked it for two reasons, I wanted one that was as Plain Jane as could be, carrying out here in the desert takes a toll on pretty.  Two, it was on sale and dirt cheap compared to everything else in the cabinet. (?^

The more I shoot it, the more I like it.  The balance and handling is super, I can see why Arvo Ojala liked these short barrels for his work.  At the moment, with around 1500 rounds through the barrel, it is just about broken in.  All my shooting with it has been done with Cowboy Action type loads, all lead bullets.  The bore looks like a mirror after cleaning.  I have a friend on another forum who purchased a brand new Ruger Bisley in .45 Colt.  He had to have the cylinder bored out before he could begin to see groups like I have been getting regularly with this one.
