Has anyone tried making or modifying a round ball mold to make something like this? Looks interesting. Found this on another forum once.

Hello Lee,

There is a better way, I found this somewhere & saved a copy.
One could either make it with Hollow Base or Solid with adjustable weights.

Thats a nice design. Is it one you have and use? Got it in a 44 design? I only have 2 36cal pistols. One a '51 Colt snubby with 3" barrel and an 1862 Colt Uberti. Both i limit to round ball only. Just me. The 44cals i will try almost anything.

Desperate Lee,

No, I have not tried them, just another project I'll probably never get to.
I'm not sure where I stumbled across it but it looked interesting.
I have never cast with a hollow base before,
and from what I've read not sure if I want to try.
