Another member missing for a while

Gunslinger9378, Johnny Roper has also vanished from here. DD4lifeusmc was probably closest to keeping tabs on him, but he has sadly departed too. Johnny was an outspoken character and very colorful!

As far as we know, DD4 listed two occations, number 2 being in the fall 2016 in Cheyenne (when DD took him in). Now then, Johnnie is rather advanced in years and has had trouble with his internet access from time to time. So let's hope it's just a tech problem.

Welp, with Jonnie anything could have happened.  Hope he didn’t drop Betsina again.  He lucked out last the time he did that.  Dear First and Current Spouse, who’s an MD, is of the opinion that given his description of the shooting and his MES loads he should have lost a good 2 1/2” of hand with the thumb shot clean off or at a minimum just dangling by threads.

Gunslinger 9378 could really “sling it”.  M__ Wish he’d come back and regale us with some more.

Betsina and Clementina are Johnnies Remington revolvers.

Betsina and Clementina are Johnnies Remington revolvers.

And Sophia, don’t forget Sophia, the last acquired of his Triplets.

Johnnie really likes him some Pietta Remington in 5.5 and cylinders, lots of cylinders.

Jah only knows where he and they are by now but maybe he’ll turn up again, yet.  I hope so.

Johnnie told me about the spelling of his first name: When he entered service in the British forces, there were three guys with the first name Johny. So the Serg. Major decided to arbitrarily re-name two of them to Johnie and Johnnie.  In his alias "Gunslinger 9378" the number is his UK Army "member/affiliation" number.
