New FaceBook page
« on: November 29, 2016, 08:42:49 PM »
After years of resistance I have relented and opened a FaceBook page featuring my leatherwork.   It's been up for a month or so and I've had some good response.   I figured if we have any FB users here maybe you would take a look and comment or just push the "like" button.   Thanks

Good job, Mike!
The best part (aside from your excellent work) is that people don't have to be FB members to view your site.
I will probably die with my computer in my cold dead hands before I join social media (other than this forum).
For those of us who do not FB, continually reinforce your "real" web page throughout FB so private/secure communications can transpire outside FB's sieve.

back in 2007 I signed up for facebook for Marine related things.
Then FB  changed their policies. your time line and photos and such don't really belong to you but to them
So took advantage of the grace period  removed everything I had posted except my avatar.
changed the email address I used to sign in. Notified all the friends I had, what I was doing and was unfriending them
because of FB's new policy so there would be no link from anybody to me.  Cleaning up the cookie crumbs.
All FB emails to me are automatically deleted.
NO website needs that much permission / authority/autonomy over any of it's members.
I still have the account in case I need to contact somebody via them. Otherwise I never use it.
Actually I hope it does crash and burn and zuckerberg is left penniless.
And as usual Mike your statement is an understatement on quality.
