well a dram is a left over description when shot shells were still loaded with BP
1 dram = 1/16 ounce in dry weight measure

in apothecaries liquid measure  about 1/8 oz.

WEE  basically  small or little bit
so a wee dram would be just barely drop of whiskey
but knowing the Scots and Irish  that would be a misnomer
a Jest  a farce of what actually happens
