Well, I've been working on my own version of a "cam-less hammer" for some time (off and on ). Since I introduced my "Long Arm Technology" it's been on the back burner.   The  "LAT" works very well for extending the life of the bolt as well as the least amount of resistance (so far) to "hammer fall" which is extra insurance for ignition along with an even lighter action for a C&B revolver. Eventually though, a "cam-less hammer"  would be the ultimate if you can have almost no resistance to make IT work (that is the problem with Ruger/light action /timing).

The stocks on that thing were a damn abomination.
Not only home made but fit was poor, they were splintered n broken and what not.

So took to fabbing a fresh pair out of an old rifle stock i had laying around.

Then..that pic with my chrome Remmy and the 1860? Well...i´m to late for the 4th of july right?  (?^
Nah. Colt though, which is an old original of course,i´ve played around with a bit setting it up for fully adjustable arbor and so on. Still needs a ton of work though as you can clearly see.
