Gunshops who carry real blackpowder ?

Hi

My wife is in Key West Florida visiting her 93 year old Mama and will be driving home(North Mississippi )within a week or so and I am wondering if anyone knows of any gunshops along the way she could stop at on her way back and pickup a few pounds of Goex Olde Eynsford FFFG ?
She has to of course go through Florida,Georgia,Alabama.

Bass Pro Shops are supposed to sell it but you have to talk to the store manager. Good luck on finding any in MS. Since our hunting laws changed it's hard enough finding Pyrodex. Here is their dealer locator if you can figure it out lol https://goexpowder.com/dealers/dealer-locator/

I called Bass pro at the Pyramid in Memphis and was told that they do not carry any  Real BlackPowder,of course I am sure that I was not talking to the store Manager,I will try again as I go right Past the Pyramid going over to West Memphis AR to see my 83 year old Mama.

As far as the So Called dealer Locator feature at Goex it does not work,even called them and talked to a guy that claimed it does not work for them either !

I suppose I will either bite the bullet so to speak and order some online or use one of the substitutes.

Weird, it works for me. It's a map of the U.S. with red balloons on their locations. Hover on one and it gives the name of the dealer. I use a lot of Pyrodex. It's about the same power/consistency as Swiss which I also use when I have the money for it.

I don't know if this is too far out of the way, but Clarksville Gun and Rod carries Black powder. I have purchased case lots from them over the years. Clarksville, Arkansas.

That's a good map.  I discovered that the nearest BP vendor to me is about 80 crow miles away.  (120-130 driving).  Ironically, it's about 15 minuets from where I formerly lived for 15 years.  [Auburn area, east of Sacramento, west slope of the Sierras]  I used to get my Pyrodex there - that's all they had then and no black.

I've said it many times....get a couple of buddies together and order a case. That way you split HazMat and shipping while still getting a good price on the powder. No time and travel cost which may balance out other costs. You can also split different makes of powders as well as granulation.
