It's a little better with T7, if u can't get too it today it'll be alright until the weekend. I've never waited more than a few days though.  (T^

One thing I CAN tell you....DON'T shoot Pyrodex and leave the gun sit a couple days. You'll be sorry.

The guy that invented it, blew himself & his plant up in 1977, so it's older than that. DuPont actually had a much older Blackpowder substitute.

I had said I didn't want to mess with Triple 7 FFFg powder any more. They had four bottles at one of the LGSs and I picked one up. Will be trying to work up a good load for the ROA with a good bullet. I'm hope I just missed something the last time I use that powder. If it don't work out with this gun that will be the end of Trip 7 for me.
If it's not broke don't try fixin it.

Delbert, if you want a "good" (i.e., powerful -) load for yer ROA need look no further than right here! Confirmed ".44 Mag" power level (well, a weaker loaded one,) from black powder pistol, not too shabby, not shabby at all! JMHO!

after looking at ballistics charts, I think 44 special, or .45 ACP is all the more these will ever hit, as even a .41 magnum, can routinely hit 900+ ft lbs.

I can easily beat 38 special ballistics with my 36 Remington, can't muster .357 though. More like the old 38-44.
