The 1858 in foriegn service
« on: November 24, 2017, 10:01:27 AM »
I did a search but couldn't find an answer so I thought I'd ask here.
Which foreign military s (if any)  issued  1858s?
Thanks!

Hi Juan - For a start see Service History/Used By in Wiki article.  The list is probably accurate so far as it goes but also maybe not exhaustive.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".

It's not mentioned on Wikipedia, but I'm pretty sure the Canadian government bought some as well right around the Militia Act of 1868. For a while there after the British left the Canadians had an utter hodgepodge of British and American surplus.
