You all had to show me cannons.

OK now I have a new reason to get some rural acres.

I found this http://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?products_id=1653 and now I want one.

Though considering the $7K difference I might have to go with one of their lower cost ones that are barrel only and build my own carriage. Or I could buy 4 of the barrel only's for the price of the single full outfitted one.

Now see what you did, I am planning the buying of 4 cannons vs 1.

Good thing I don't have the acres yet.

Get the cannon first. Then you'll be more motivated to get the acres.

I've seen one of these fired, but only at a small load as we were only a mile or so from California and had to shoot towards the boarder. Not the specific gun I saw, but one like it.

That looks like a lot of fun. LOL, shooting at Cal, don't blame ya. M__

I am actually pretty motivated. It is just a matter of finding the right piece of property and locating a job in the area I want to live.

For those with a low budget, here's a smaller BP cannon under $30
