They are .44's, Sammy. Note the rebated cylinders.

Dear Bruce,
Just an idea! Try and find a War Between The States Re-Enactment group.  Especially a Confederate Guerilla Group.  The Brass frames would be ideal for them, because Blank loads do not build up any pressure to speak of, and they would be (Kinda?) authentic for Border Ruffians!  Just a thought!  I came across a garage sale the other day, and got a pair of Tan 19th. Century Cavalry Boots for TEN DOLLARS!  They were brand new, had never been worn, when their owner, the son of the people I bought them from, had been tragically kiled when a Big Rig crushed his Pick-up Truck and his horse trailer, somewhere in Oklahoma, when he was going to a Re-enactment of some Guerilla Skirmish in Missouri. The poor horse died as well.  THe elderly couple had a pair of brass framed Colt Style pistols also for sale, together with some rather scuffed brown leather holsters and straps & Pouches as well.  As you may have read, I too am not a Colt Man, and since I always shoot loads with Hair on their Chests, six rounds of what I shoot would turn any brasser into a wall hanger, Muy Pronto!
How is that new cylinder working out in the Walker?  Did you have to do any additional Filing & Fitting?  Or did it just "Drop In?"  I hope for your sake it was the latter!

Never make the mistake of thinking I will not shoot..........
Because it may be your very last mistake!
