Nice!

That's an interesting combination forend cap/underlug.  I don't believe I've seen that feature before.

That fore end cap holds the front of the stock to the 16" long barrel with two screws. When i got the kit, the box had been opened and it only had one side lock screw. The sights that were in the kit were brass and I cut down a rear rifle sight, mostly because those brass sights needed a lot of filing/finishing and it was very hard to hold them. I did put the kit front sight on, at least for now.

Len, it's a 45 caliber rifled bore, 1:18" twist I believe.

I like it mazo. I believe yours is the second one to ever be posted on this forum. I almost bought one a while back but put it off for another gun. ^y%

Thanks all, I got the kit reasonably enough and I am pretty happy at how the build turned out.

I mentioned before that this was an older kit.....I never checked the date code before today. 1987 from the square AS on the barrel! I guess I'm lucky that only one screw was missing and that was one I could make myself. {?|

Yeah, no doubt the pistol will shoot just fine. Don't know about me hitting the bullseye though! M__

Really good lookin', Mazo. It has been manya year since I worked on a kit.  In truth, it was probably back in the mid- late 70s, and that was a rifle.  Just been too busy doing stupid stuff like work, to try my hand again.  Guess I'll have to keep my eye open for a reasonably priced kit of some sort.  Again, really good lookin'.   (T^ (T^ (T^
