1960 Navy Arms GU Griswold and Gunnison's
« on: August 04, 2011, 07:00:47 PM »
Here are my unfired Gregorelli and Uberti made Navy Arms Griswold and Gunnison revolvers.  One has a 1960 date code on it.  The other has no date code.

Fingers (Show Me MO smoke) McGee - AKA Man of Many Colts - Alter ego of Diabolical Ken; SASS 28564-LTG-Regulator, rangemaster and stage writer extraordinaire; Frontiersman, Pistoleer, NRA Endowment Life, NMLRA, SAF, CCRKBA, STORM 327, SV115; Founding member, Central Ozarks Western Shooters.  Member:  The Ozarks Posse, Southern Missouri Rangers, Moniteau Creek River Raiders, Butterfield Trail Cowboys.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Beautiful guns, Fingers! Did the mould come with or did you throw that in yourself?

I've only had them a few months.  Got them back in May from a tip on another forum.

What you see is what I got.  The mold is marked F.I.E. Miami, Fla

It's a long story that has to do with manual dexterity.  Short story is that it is the camp name given to me when I was doing the Mountain Man/Rendezvous and pre 1800 reenacting thing When I got into Cowboy Action Shooting, it was a natural alias to pick.
