Howell Cylinder for R&S
« on: September 14, 2012, 04:56:11 PM »
I was wondering about the Howell cylinder for the R&S revolver. I understood the Remington R&D 6 shot cylinder has the chambers cut at a very slight angle . I called Howell Old West Conversions and asked if the R&S 6 shot cylinder was also cut at a slight angle . Maggy , I believe, informed me that it was not .
So, if anyone is wanting a 6 shot conversion cylinder for an R&S but doesn't like the idea of angled chambers . Give Howell Old West Conversions a call.

I have no affiliation with Howell Old West Conversions and no I am not being compensated for posting this thread. It is just some information I thought I would pass along.

I think R&D has discontinued the 6 shot Remington cylinders.

Not as far as I know ... you'd have to look under Howell instead... they do now make the .44Colt for the 1858 NMA in 6 shot...
