How was yur day here was my nite...
« on: February 02, 2012, 10:57:57 PM »
Ever lose yur only key to yur car with a chip on it in yur trunk? It's $325 thru AAA and yeah I did it ... now I have a spare key and AAA covered all but $175 case i'm a Premium member.
Ands this all happened cause I went and evaluated an FIE Brasser with what looks like a P over and R like a brand on the heel of the grip SN L4414 a .44 cal Brasser ... well I have another Brasser and a spre key finally ... the night were't that bad I guess... I've had a .36 & a .44 FIE but this one seems pretty nice ... seein' what it cost me for layin' me keys in the trunk and closin' it with the doors locked.
I want a Dodge Ram P'U or a Xrta cab GMC 1968-1972 would be great... (*K {J&

Ouch....spendy gun !!! I once was going to look at some hay from a guy I hadn't ever bought from and took my old german shepard Chewy (a pup at that time). I got out of the truck, looked at the hay, conversed with the seller and turned around just in time to see my dog lift a paw and put it down precisely on the door lock !!!! The passenger side was already locked. This was in 95, no electric crap back then for me. Fortunately, I always kept a spare key taped to my radiator hose, you could open the hood on a 79 Chervy pickup without being inside so I did just that. Unfortunately, I had my mechanic go over my truck right before we moved to Idaho an one of the things he did was change my belts and hoses. Took almost an hour to find the key, he had put it under the hood insulation. The dog however was quite content to wait, the AC was on and it was a 95 degree day. Miss the dog and the truck.

There is an engraved FIE .36 Brasser at Buffalo Gun Center (NY), but they want $200 + tax for the thing. When you put it in half cock, the cylinder turns to the next chamber and then stops; you can't turn it any further until you go full cock > lower hammer > half cock again. I do not know what's wrong with it, but it is overpriced. For $100 I would buy it.

P.S. I am really getting into brassers.

I bought my first brasser in years simply cuz it was engraved. I like it though and it functions perfectly. It may go on the auction block soon though, I found a new sickness and pietta be it's name.... ;)
