Gooped her up with Lubriplate and reassembled.

Captain, is that standard lubing procedure for you or is it just pending getting back inside soon?  I've been using that white grease on all the internal moving parts and wonder if that's the best method. I began using Lubriplate on just the arbor/cylinder pin.  Then in the hand channel too and finally on everything.  It seems to work real well - but, for the moving parts, so does RemOil.

I have read here that some use a combination of oil and grease and that some actually mix the two together.

SOP for me, G. I find Lubriplate 'feels' slipperier when rubbed between the thumb and finger than Rem Oil, and leaves a lasting film. Plus, the powder residue mixes with it and makes cleaning a snap...just wipe out the grease and the powder comes with it.

OK, gonna try to upload some pix here.
All in all, really happy with this one. A pretty rare find in this day and age!
