He isn't lying about the sights, they suck, for that matter they all do on 19th century guns for the most part, I can never see the dam things and end up point shooting.  As a result I am fair to middlin' at point shooting most of the time.

 {?( I like My Starr 1863 SAA .44 with a spare cylinder ... once I opened the cyl. slots up a hair it works flawlessly. It's one of the coolest Revs I got I think, it's light for it's size and jus' plain feels good...here's a couple pics.









I really like mine ... it was the 3rd most issued Rev once they switched to the SSA from the DA model...the Gov't placed an order, over 3,000 were made I believe.

This one shoot real good if Clint would a had mine in the Unforgivin' I think he'd a hit that bean can ... a good shooter/collector piece to have from the War Against Northern Agression {?( ;)

A plus is no cyl. pin or arbor ... cyl. looks like a plumb bob ... but it works fleely don't seem to bind up. Come on  Maybshoot it ])M Maybe we'll get a Rondy with any BP guns you want to bring....a Transsitional Mtn. Man/Western Cowboy one,,, ;) _l

With my lube pills even Colts keep Shootnin' all day ])M  )L$ And I do love my Colts too jst Rems a LiL' more  (D@

Yup yur right I wanted the later SAA Model ... I also heard the troubled ... Wouldn't mind havin' one to see ])M
I like this Pietta ok though happy with it now spare cly. for it too, They are differantn & accurate shooter but not as fast to change cyls as a Rem is  :-* (D@
