So far, I have only taken mine to a shooting range. I made a modified "box"....wooden base where the cartridges stand, and a wooden cover over that fits over the cartridges. Caps are just picked loose from the tin as of now.

OK, picture in a bit. I didn't know Cash made a musket cap dispenser, so looked it up on-line. Guess I'll have to stop in and pay Scott a visit soon and pick one up.

Here is a picture of the "box" I made. It works fine for range use, but I am thinking of making a smaller version, maybe with a slip case over the wood.

I use a capper, less fumbling in the field. And I think I have a new one here someplace.

I carry the cases in a homemade bandalier type  thingy, but a civil war belt cartridge box will work fine.
I use a piece of cellophane tape over the flash hole in bottom of case and prick it with a needle.
Also have used single layer tissue paper over hole on inside  Mine has always gone boom.

I put a strip of 3M tape over the hole. Easy to rip off when putting the case in.
