The seller is playing ignorant, so the actual condition is anyone's guess, but it's good internally I'd say it's plenty well worth it.  You pay extra for that messed up finish from Uberti.  In this case you get it for free.

Did you just say Uberti's finish is not very good ?

I think he's talking about Uberti's antique finish. I think it's worth taking a gamble on. There's no drag line and the cylinder notches aren't dinged up.

OK. By the way I'm not interested, just passing the info on. Seems that $150 for a collector
might be good. Of course U paz U money takes U chances. ::)

I've been looking at thus this one for a while. I had never looked at a R+S before  I decided to pick it up. Its actually in great shape it needs a little bolt work its leaving marks on the cylinder . I thought id post s picture with the spiller and burr and one of the 1858's

I'm thinking of sending the S&B ,  R&S and 2 - 5.5" 1858's  off to the Goons next month. I thought i'd try and keep Mike busy.
