Cylinder & grips
« on: March 30, 2015, 05:56:56 PM »
Today (on my 5-1/2"), I added a stainless cylinder from Cabela's (which sets off the brass trigger guard nicely) & imitation stag grips from gungrip.com. Despite some negative reviews, this is the 2nd set of grips from that co.; and, both times have been trouble-free. In fact, it seems there's been a manufacturing improvement, as they install quicker & easier than the last pair. Although I like the wooden grips, these certainly fill the hand better, with a more positive grip. I know this is a tease, as I don't have a camera; but, I can tell you that the gun looks great w/these 2 mods.

Do you have a friend with a cameras? Trying to visualize is not the same as actually SEEING the results.

Sounds interesting.  I do hereby second (or rather third) the motion to call for the posting of images.

If you have a "smart" phone or an iPad it's super easy, being that the camera and the computer from with you do your on-line posting are one in the same device.  Otherwise, once you get your photos loaded from your camera onto your computer, it's still pretty easy.

I don't have any of those things (including a camera). My living in the past extends far beyond my choice of weapons.  ])M
