Great deal -- Crosman refurb + conversion kit
« on: February 14, 2013, 08:34:57 PM »
Just bought a Crosman 1377c (.177 cal.) refurb at:
http://www.rlairgunsupply.com/air-pistols/crosman-1377c-remanufactured/
Can't tell it from brand new. Variable pump, single shot, max. 600 fps. Only $35 + $15 shipping. Very powerful.

Also bought a 1322 (.22 cal.) conversion kit -- barrel & bolt (gun is bolt action) -- on ebay. Bid starts at $25; $30 buy it now. Free shipping. Seller is v-max29
listed as: New Crosman 1377 to 1322 Conversion Kit with .22 Barrel and .22 Bolt

So, for $80, I got the gun & conversion kit so I can have interchangeable cals. -- for the price of 1 new gun. Not bad. Told 'em both I'd spread the word.

You can get the 1322 brand new for about $54 or less if you look around. List for a new 1322 is $69.
In .22 caliber it will shoot somewhere around 425-450 stock. Lot of modifications that can be done to the 13XX platform.
If done right you can actually shoot 600+ in .177. With out mods it is more of a 525-575fps in .177

Yeah, but $54 + shipping, right? I figured @ $35, I couldn't go wrong. & I liked the idea of having both cals.

Well. Less than $65 if you go buy regular pricing and don't get it at a sale price. I don't think you will want to swap the barrel and breech every time you decide you want a different caliber. When you change to .,22 you most likely will never change back..22 is way to much fun.
I have 2 13XX platform pistols. One is a vintage 1322 Medalist and the other is a 1377 Classic. I didn't spend $80 on the 2 combined and have since done mods to the 1377 and added a red dot sight.I did the mods myself as they are not hard to do with basic tools.

Yeah, you're probly right about not switching back; I did think about that. I probly liked the idea more than the actual application. Since I'm selling my Remmie (not by choice, believe me), the Crosman is my only gun; so, I figured, "Why not?" Know what I mean, Vern?
