Captainkirk,

These guns are mine.

Back in the late 60s early 70s my Father and I used to shoot the Remington and Starr.
I cringe when I think about it.
I don't think you shoot CW guns in this condition.
I would never do it again....I have enough other guns to shoot.
I hate to think about the original bluing that was lost during that exercise.

The 60 Colt was never subjected to that.

In answer to your question the 58 Remington was a very accurate gun...the Starr not as much.
I guess over the years I have definitely become more of a collector rather than a shooter of these original guns.

I've heard about the accuracy problems with the D/A Starrs. Guess it's the weird cocking process.
Weebles wobble but they won't fall down...
