There is nothing logical about government.

"governmental logic" - oxymoron.
Keep in mind that most government rules-makers could not get/keep a job in the private sector, so moved to where they could advance to their level of incompetence, forcing the competents into "consulting" (aka paying off the incompetents who make rules).

Thank you for serving, Busy.  Where are you stationed now?

Back on topic:  Stored in a safe or locked gun case when not in my hands or on my hip.
I'm running out of safes, which by the way are in several different states.
Don't want to keep all the eggs in one basket.
Thankfully, I'm not running out of states yet (although the ones what don't want my guns around are growing in number).

Wait a minute, didn't I already answer this?  Have I too reached my level of incompetence?

I agree, trusting the government to apply common logic to something is asking way too much. I think most these politicians would be better off taking on something simpler, like coloring. Let REAL Americans make choices for themselves on what guns they want to own or if they want them at all. Let Americans decide if going to war with a specific country is worth it. Don't let people with an 8th grade education decide things for us. Take Biden for example, I'm sure he's been to college, but he's incompetent and common sense doesn't register with him. Some of these people are the smartest dumbasses I've ever met. Reminds me of most the nukes I've met. (?^

I'm proud to be serving. As of now I'm at Fort Leonardwood Army base, at the Naval detachment. There's only 48 Navy personnel on base. It may suck at times, but in the bigger picture I'm doing something I've always wanted to do. I get military discounts when I'm in, veteran's benefits when I get out, $5 off my hunting license, I'll be able to afford a home and  I get to play with some big machines and after 5 years I'll be about equivalent to someone who's been paving roads for 15 years. Not only that but I'll be able to provide for my soon to be wife and kids if I have em', and if I'm smart about spending money I can save up enough for some land.

Whoa, I have a brother there, an Army Major in the Chaplain Service, who started military life as a jarhead.  You'da thought I'd knowed there be a Naval Detachment at FLW.  I guess that makes me still gettin' older, but still gettin' learnin'.

Not much opportunity to store your own bang-sticks on post, I suppose.

I'm glad to be back on the forum. I'm especially glad to not be in boot camp! (T^ That place sucked and I had the most ghetto, unsatisfactory RDC's I could imagine. Here in MO it's all rednecks, I don't have to worry about that. _LL

A lot of bases do allow personal weapons, but must be secured at the base armory.
Best bet, make friends with someone off base and store there. Or even rent a storage locker in town.

Well boots over, it gets easier now.
