I found a way to get the photos, I just downloaded all of them.
If someone can tell me where to post them here on 1858Rem site we can reconstruct RD's tutorial for him.

Hi Mazo

I am trying to think, but nothing happens ...

I can upload them to the forum ( somewhere) but to make this thread work right
I would neeed admin priviledges to change the link in RD's posts ...

or, If we can get an admin who has time ...

but I am officially retired so I have nothng but time, in between the cooking, cleaning, running sick cats and wife around.... LOL

ideas?

I don't know if the pics are still around.  That entire project was done on another 'puter and photo bucket aka buttwipephoto.  Not sure what I might have.

OK, the presentation has been re-built to the best of my memory and ability.  If you should find any glaring errors (just live with the little ones) let me know and I'll try to fix 'em.

Wow that's pretty cool. Thanks for sharing that and re-doing the pics.

Springfield Missouri is about 1 hour or so west of my house. We go there every couple weeks to hit Sam's Club etc.
Springfield Leather is a sight to see - big store filled with leather a craft products.

I'd say they are very pro-gun as there are frequently craftsman sitting in the store making holsters with real guns.

Few years ago I bought a couple pieces of leather, sewing awl, string, a couple stamps, and stain to make a holster or knife sheath. Working overseas has gotten in the way so far.

drobs, there happens to be a great bunch of guys in Springfield.  They are CASS and NCOWS shooters.  Even if you have never shot a cowboy match, stop and say howdy.  A better bunch of folks you have never met.

As for Springfield Leather, I'll have to check it out next time are there for a match.

I meant to visit with J-Bar of Springfield last trip home but it didn't work out. Next time... He was saying the same thing. Seems they shoot all the time.

Springfield Leather has membership type deal that gives you better than marked pricing on everything in the store / website. I forget the details but keep it in mind if you visit /order online.

I have ordered a couple of items from Springfield Leather. Didn't know about the discounts, but they offer free samples of some things.

It's kind of a Sportsman's Guide type promotion:

http://springfieldleather.com/wholesale

$30 initiation / $15 a year gets you wholesale pricing. I don't know how much off that actually is though. Probably best to call.
