So you think you're a deer stalker

THIS guy is a deer stalker;



My dog and I once came within a few feet of a quail which was napping in the sun on a snow field, but that's hardly the same.

My thought also.  The buck was at a tactical disadvantage due to terrain, and was presumably startled out of a snooze, so maybe it wasn't very likely that he'd choose to fight.  You never know though.
