Last time I ordered something from China, it arrived two weeks later! Is your revolver coming from the Moon or some place maybe further away than that? Remember, no pics- it don't exist! {+*

Oh, you doubter :9) Yes, it took longer than I thought but I finally have it in my grubby little hands. I am over the moon with it, it has about 30% original bluing still on it. All matching numbers, bore is mint, wood grips are almost mint. cartouche inspector is Giles Porter.
It indexes perfectly and cocks like new with now play in the cylinder. Cylinder to breech gap is a little less than .005 thou. &j(.

That is nice. Is it for looking or is it for shooting?

Unfortunately over here in the UK, I would have to get a section 1 firearms licence just to shoot it. ^y%

Send it over here.  We'll ship it around to each other for a few months and shoot it for you.   Then we can all do a post about shooting your Original Remington.
Sound good to you?
I didn't think so....

Great looking revolver, wish I could get my hands on it.  Congratulations on a nice purchase.

That's a nice one. It probably sat in Bannerman's warehouse for years and spent most of the rest of it's life in an attic.

Last time I ordered something from China, it arrived two weeks later!

I ordered something from China once and it made it to NY in less than 24 hours. It stayed in NY for a week and took another week to get to me. It got to within 50 miles of my house twice before it got to me. The first time it then went to Atlanta and the second time it went to Mobile.

Wow!  That looks amazing for its age.  Do you plan to fire it?

Nah Acebopper.
Lovely piece of kit. As you might have read i own one or two as well and it´s always a hoot when you run into the tight ones.
Britain and firearms..don´t get me started. You guys were handed an even shorter stick then we did!  ^y%
We´re at least allowed to use them, the old ones that is. Which is why we basically repair anything so needed beyond sanity..  (?^
