Thanks for the observation.  I’ll place the parts together to compare them. I’ll take a picture for your examination..    I tested by screwing the part from the hardware store, into the revolver. It was not tight or loose, but seem to fit very well.

I just thought of another possible solution to making screws.....Track of the Wolf has blank, unthreaded screws that can be cut to length and threaded to your required size. A small metric tap and die set is pretty inexpensive, or just pick up the dies you need at your local hardware store.
