Remington, since 1816, the oldest continuously existing business in America today. I wonder what's going to happen with Remington percussion caps?

Remington has been through this before - 1886 or 88, I forget the exact year. I'm sure they'll survive again.

Big corporations have a tendency to take over a good business and grind it into the ground. Hopefully some fresh new management will come in and put Remington back on it's feet.

I read a couple of days ago that they came back out of bankruptcy, so I guess they found some fresh capital.

The 700 series rifle trigger system was a bad idea.  Sandy Hook was a bad idea.  Manhattan lawr firms are a bad idea but they’ll get their cut (33.33 %  + expenses).  It’s a feeding frenzy.

Chapter 11 is just a reorganization. It gives the company a chance to get its debts in order. They fully intend to come back.
