Just Another Range Day

Had a good morning the other day.
No of the bag shooting all free hand, I need the practice.
10yds. off hand.

Top Pic:
Howell 5 shot 45Colt Cyl.
200gr. Poly coated cast, 6.4gr. HP-38
Top target is one handed.
Bottom is two handed.

Bottom Pic:
Two hands
.454 RB, 30gr. 777 FFF
Lubed Wad, Rem #10 caps

Not bad at all.

Shoots a mite high with the 45 Colt.  Can't tell with the round ball 'cause your POA is not obvious.

I assume that's Remington?

Yep, pretty good shooting. While I shoot long guns quite well, handgun shooting is not my strong suit. Actually, I haven't shot handguns all that much. That is going to change! I should say that my shooting has been at 25 yards off hand, so maybe I am not as bad as I thought.

Went again yesterday with the 1858.
Just a bit better with the RB load.
10yds. hits just an inch low.
Also took out my new to me Pietta 1851, I don't shoot that as well.
Probably trade it off for another 1858.
