well Him and I talked and for a nominal extra fee  I shipped it out.
Throwing away money again.  But what the hell.
So good chance it will be back by end of February

I'll be really interested to see your Ruger .50 when it is finished DD. I hear Clemets is next to no one when it comes to gunsmithing on Ruger Old Army revolvers.

got an email from him today  the gun arrived at his shop today.

admittedly I am spending more money on this project than what it is actually worth.

But then again there probably aren't a hell of a lot of them that have been coverted.
I figure damn near anybody can own a 44 cal bp  but not as many with the 50.
Mine will most likely be used as a target gun, as I really don't hunt anymore.
and with a 7 3/4" barrel and big frame not suited for CC.
But I bet it will be fun shooting this thing.
Closest out there would be the TC contender in bigger calibers
And yep pictures will be posted after it gets back here.

I have seen a couple of Clemets .50 cal conversions going for big bucks on Gunbroker.
